Clocks- 4 (Four) Gingerbread: (1) Waterbury Clock Co., Waterbury, Conn., unidentified model gingerbread mantel clock made for premium or mail order, 8 day, time and strike with simple calendar, spring-driven movement in a pressed oak case, c1900; (2) William L. Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, Conn., "Laurel" mantel clock, 8 day, time and strike, spring-driven movement in a pressed oak case, c1895; (3) New Haven Clock Co., New Haven, Conn., "No. 505" mantel clock, 30 hour, time and strike with alarm, spring-driven movement in an ash case, c1885; (4) New Haven Clock Co., New Haven, Conn., "Camden B" mantel clock, 8 day, time and strike, spring-driven movement in a dark wood case, c1907.
CONDITION:
(1) Side-mounted thermometer is not attached but included. Barometer tube is missing. Case has been nicely refinished. Paper dial has light brown stains and spots. (2) Case refinished. Paper dial is a replacement. Pendulum has been repainted. (3) Finish has been lost. Painted metal dial is flaking. (4) Original finish has turned very dark. Some paint missing from metal dial. Dimensions provided are for the Waterbury. Sold "as is ".
